The
company was founded in 1925 in Frederick, Maryland by the late Paul Crum,
Sr., whom over the course of the 52 years built the foundation for a
company that has become one of the
leading electrical contractors in the quad-state area. In 1977 Mr.
Crum sold Crum Electric to David and Constance Semler. The Semler's
have worked to see their company grow and prosper from just four employees
to over 80. They take a lot of pride in carrying on the traditions
of the company. In the fall of 1997 the company expanded and opened
another office in Winchester, VA to access the needs of the growing area,
the company's employees, and clientele that had been established
previously.
